Are bees back?

Here is a story I read a little while ago. It was on a radio show but I didn't hear it. Maybe little by little people other than us organic gardeners are listening.

That is insane that they would ban bees. Hey I got an idea let's ban water too it's got bad things in it at times. Same thing. Well at least they saw the error of their way's.

Unbelievable really, because people get stung every now and than I'm sure. Like the article said a stubbed toe is way worse than a bee sting. To me a bees sting is just a light nuisance.

I tell you what they can an is whatever is laying eggs on my broccoli I just smashed about 15 tiny caterpillars.

Idk- I kind of get why they would ban "bee keeping". Obviously you can't put a ban on bees themselves. But we're talking about keeping bees in NYC. It's not like these people have yards. They probably banned it b/c people were keeping bees on the roofs of their aprtment complexes, where other people have access & it could be dangerous.

well hopefully enough of my neighbors will respect bees and they'll have a refuge here..as I will be growing most of my own food anyway
