What to feed my new vegetables?

Without having much time to search through the forums here I am wondering if there is a "go to" combination of natural ingredients to make for a good feeding for vegetable plants that will fill them with the necessary nutrients without burning them?

Keep in mind I know pretty much nothing about feeding my plants so any advice on what works for what reason, how often, and anything else I (and any other newbie) would find valuable is much appreciated.

Or just point me in the right direction with a link.

As always thanks a million!

your best bet is to sheet mulch around your plants with as much organic stuff you can find, straw, grass clippings, eggshells, food scraps, sawdust, bark, anyhthing you can find..even pulled weeds..(just make sure the roots of any invasive weeds aren't in contact with the soil where they might regrow)
