I've been thinking of constructing a series of light weight wooden rectangular panels with clear plastic stapled across them. I figure the panels can either be stacked horizontal or verticle when not in use. When it is time to set them up, just screw the panels together. Leave one opening for a plastic flap type of doorway, perhaps double layered. I think that this kind of arrangement could be used as an individual cover for a tomato plant or other plant as a season extender. Or could be used as an unheated greenhouse or cover of a garden section, to get plants started early. Such a unit would be versatile in size as you could just join more or less panels. It would be portable and storable. And as well would be inexpensive and easy to construct. IMO such a construction would only be suitable as an unheated greenhouse except for perhaps placing a lamp or two inside on a frosty night.
