weird Walla Walla onions

DSC05548 (Medium).JPG
Last fall some of our Walla Walla onions were left in the ground and stayed there all winter. This spring they popped up and grew tall but then they started seed pods and out of those actual little plants came. What could I do with those or is all of it compost material?

Are you sure you don't have Egyptian Walking Onions?

A friend bought the seedlings at a reputable gardening centre as Walla Walla onions. I wonder if he got the right ones!!! I never heard of Egyptian Walking Onions and mist look them up.

You are right...they must be the Egyptian Walking Onions. I searched on the Internet and found plants exactly like the ones we have. Thanks very mich for your information. Now I have to figure out what to do with them.
