Mums advice.

Don't fret, my Mum is as bad as me, her speciality is rampant rhubarb, so fear not. I am now searching for hardy perenials that can cope with semi shade whixh may have a bloom or two through the year. Any advice?

A few perennials that do well in semi-shade, and bloom at different times are Astilbe, Hosta, Bleeding Heart, columbine, solomon's seal, lamium.
There are several different varieties of these, and several different colours to choose from as well.

Look for a Geranium from the Blooms Boys called Rozanne; it'll go all season for you. A real winner!

Otherwise known as cranesbill. This one does spread a little, so be prepared and give it room!
