glow in the dark petunia

Would you buy glow green in the dark petunia? it would be white flower during day time. Saw it on news sites.

I almost deleted your post as possible spam, but since you are a full member I give you benefit of the doubt.

I’m not even going to go look, but I have to say, there are many plants and flowers in particular that “glow in the dark” under black light/UV light because that’s how they are seen by, and attract night feeding insects (moths, for example) etc.

It might be interesting to experiment in your garden this summer.

My 2 cents is that while I think it's neat in a way, I wish people would stop messing with plants the way they do animals. The GMO black tomato, yeah I could write a book on how stupid that is.
