Fertigation would be great for a home garden.

Look at the video. Fertigation might require a few hours to assemble but it would be a time saver not to water plants every day with the garden. It could get complicated each crop needs different fertilizer and different amounts of water.

I used to do that. I used a siphon mixer and put the fertilizer in a five gallon bucket and mixed it as a concentrate. That way it was just like watering by hand . I could put fertilizer in my drip system when the filter is attached, but it was hard to find the fertilizer tablets for the system.

Now it's hard to find siphon mixer. You do have to be careful with them to take them off when it is done and to make sure the check valve on the faucet to prevent contaminating the water supply.
