PBS has an amazing good TV show about, Seeds of the World.
Name of the show is, Les Stroud"s Wild Harvest
80% of the plants that grow in Hawaii grow no where else in the world. The majority of the plants that grow in any location grow no where else in the world.
Each seed has properties that make it special. Scientist have learned that there are places on earth where not much will grow but they find seeds some place else on earth that will grow in places that need plant because nothing is growing there. Scientists turned a rocky mountainous area into a forest in a few years. Turn desert into grass to feed animals.
Look for this show in your area and watch it. TV shows usually play for a week all over the USA in different towns and different TV stations.
The most interesting TV show I ever say. I watched this show on Nashville TN channel 8 PBS at 7pm it comes on again next week 9am on a different day day of the week not Wed.
