Red Cucumbers

Today we bought a container of strawberries at Aldies 99¢. Strawberries look very nice and very RED color. We bought a short cake & vanilla frozen yogurt ice cream. We sliced the strawberries they are snow white inside and a bit hard like cutting a potato. We sprinkled on some sugar let them set 3 hours did the taste test & added a bit more sugar. 4 hours later we had strawberry short cake with frozen yogurt ice cream that taste like red cucumber on short cake with frozen yogurt ice cream. LOL. We both had a good laugh about it. We have a very good short cake and good frozen yogurt ice cream, not sure we will eat more of the red cucumbers unless they start tasting better. :D

Hahaha. Well, if they do taste similar to cucumbers, they could be a colorful addition to a garden salad. Try with a fruity dressing like raspberry-balsamic vinaigrette.
