Mandevilla

I just found out I can bring a Mandevilla plant inside for the Winter What should I do? Water, no water place in the dark...what? Any advice would be appreciated. Zone#5

I tried to do this one year with no success. Brought it indoors, placed in sunny window, watered every week or so. It eventually dropped all of its leaves, and then they never re-emerged in the following spring. For me, it's just easier to buy a small (cheap) one in the spring and treat it as an annual. Sorry, I hope if you try it you have better luck than I did. It was messy with all the leaves falling off for several months, then only to have no luck with it anyway. I don't have a lot of room for indoor plants.
