Southern Missouri

Again, I am new here and have been taking pictures of everything as it blooms and before hand and have some progression photos coming up of a my dogwood tree and redbuds. Things are just starting to get going in southern Missouri. I mowed the grass for the first time this year Saturday, I would rather mow grass than shovel snow any day.

Thanks

Thanks, there is plenty more to come. I just bought supplies to do my annual bed and will probably be getting it out this weekend. We have a possible light frost warning out for Sunday, 35 degrees but some areas may get a nip but hopefully that should be the last of the near frosty weather. I just put a new rose out and also a potted rose. Unfortuanley the deer ate my tulips in the extended part of my yard and very few left closer to the house. I am sort of new to gardening, I just bought my first home in 2005 and didnt get to enjoy it much the first year with the hassle of moving in but have became interested since. The property used to have an old homestead and I am constantly surprised with new findings. Because of that I may be posting with "what is this" pictures. Attached in this post are pictures of the main yard, the first is from the road looking toward the house and the second is an exact opposit view from the porch you see on the house in the first. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to speak up. There is a well spaced pine forest to the left if looking from the first picture view directly next to the drive way. You can kind of see it in Pic 2. Also a picture looking into the forest so you can see the depth. I would like to put a shrubs or ornamental trees going up the other side. I have several things I want to ad but as most things it just takes time and a little money.
