Bush I.D can anyone help?

Hi I hope this post is in the right place and appologise if its not.
But I was wondering if anyone can help me I.D this mystery bush in my back garden?

recently moved to this house and can't for the life of me find out what this is?

Looks like a hebe, possibly salicifolia. Do you know what colour the flowers were?

unfortunately I don't know what colour the flowers were because I moved into this house just before xmas and the bush was already like that :)
at least knowing its a hebe narrows it down a bit eh.
Its a nice full looking bush so Ill deffinately leave it where it is and see what colour the flowers are this summer (or whenever its supposed to flower)
I'm very new at plants and gardening :lol:

We have all been new at some time so don't worry about that. :D
As soon as it flowers see if you can figure out which one it is online (or ask again here) The one thing hebes do benefit from is being pruned back in the Spring if they start to look scruffy/leggy.
