Holiday Avocado Ripening

I posted that I had very few fruit in 2013; planted as 5 gal in Jan., 2002. Now the tree has around 40 fruit and they are huge.

My problem is that even putting fruit in a bag/with a banana in a drawer it takes forever (over 2 weeks) to mature.

Any ideas?
