Uncommon Weed - I simply call it "Witch's Lace"

This is the culprit. I've gone to all of the gardening shops and nobody knows what this is or how to kill it shot of digign up the area and hoping you get all the roots.

It's a stalk type with broad leaves, when it the flowers when in bloom look like a delicate white or off yellow lace. Please, someone must know something. It's taking over all of my gardens.

By any chance, are you in a southern state? And when you pull it, does it kind of stink?

I ask, because we had a horrid time with a vine-like weed much like that one in Florida, and nope, nobody knew anything about it. Our garden club even sent it to Gainesville and the FL extension office and THEY didn't know either. It takes a lot to stay on top of it, because as you noted, it just wants to take over, and fast.
