Just love those weather forecasters, not!
Called for a low of 40. No problem, right? This morning my thermometer read 34 degrees and frost was on the ground as well as lots of other surfaces. All of my tender plants were out, about 50 tomato plants, some nurtured since mid December, egg plants , pepper plants, citrus, squash, cukes, melons. Luckily nothing was lost, but no thanks to the weather forecasters.
Oh Boy! That's cutting it close, Alex.
I was just telling DD that I don't see the terrible storm that will dump 1 to 3 inches of April snow on us by tomorrow's morning. However, the WS always guesses better than I do. Except, I add 5+ mph onto their forecast wind gusts. I don't know why they invariably guess low!
However, it isn't me guessing. It's them.
Good Luck the next time your guys/gals slip up on their predictions.
