? for S. hemisphere/across the pond gardeners

Naive question perhaps: Do you get any regular meteor showers, like the Perseid or Leonid showers (August & Nov., resp.)? Just curious. If so, is it the same name or different? When? Thanks.

We have all sorts of Meteor showers and many celebrations around them. With how close you are, Indiana gets the same as you do, maybe a day earlier. I know someone in Aulstralia often sees the leonid shower, and they call it the same thing, hope that helps in your curiousity :)

Thanks, FNA. I was curious to hear about what other continents see/call them.
