Please help - flower ID

Hi - please help me surprise my gardening wife by IDing a plant / flower she can't!

No, I'll tell her it was you, honestly...

It's pale yellow flower, narrow leaves (10cm long, 1 cm wide ish) and about 1 and a half feet high. In a flower bed in Edinburgh.

It looks like an evening primrose to me. Do the flowers open in the evening?

I've just done a picture search for evening primrose and you could be right! The flower actually spends most of the time "trumpet" shaped and does indeed open in the evening - good call, and thanks very much Jess.
