Agapanthus problem

Hello! I have a couple agapanthus that are turning yellow and drooping. They get sun until about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. They're fertilized probably once a month with liquid MiracleGro, and I've tried treating them with iron twice. Any ideas? Thanks!

Tell us where you are and what the weather has been like.

But at a guess, you are over-watering/ your soil is too moisture holding/ you've been getting a lot of rain. Agapanthus is drought tolerant, meaning it doesn't like a whole lot of water.

Yeah, you may be right. I'm in SoCal where we don't get much (any?) rain, especially in the summer. I water twice a week, but many have told me they're drought tolerant. So maybe that's too much. I'll try a little benign neglect. :) Thank you!
