glass tabletop replacement

Our glass-topped patio table blew over and shattered into several thousand pieces (somebody forgot to lower the umbrella...). Since I lack the patience to glue them all back together, any suggestions for a store or catalogue that would carry replacement tops? Or do I chuck the frame and start over? Thanks.

wingdesigner,

Did you get any replies? I just had the same thing happen to me, and I'm not finding an easy option to purchase a replacement glass table top for my 56x36" table.

YOu could contact your local glass company. They can usually cut a piece for you, tempered of course, to fit the table.

I would compare the price of cutting a piece compared to replacing the table however.

Good luck.

Jmg--see Opp's post. Opp--that's what I was thinking, too. There's one about 1/2 hour's drive, out by where I work. I posted on a local forum and got a couple of other suggestions, too. So comparison shopping is in order, probably later this week as it's too hot right now to do anything in yard except water. Thanks again.
