I have a whiskey barrel that I put bourgeons in, they said they were deer resistant, it appears that the deer don't know that. They did last for some time, enough to get big and pretty, but then the deer ate them to the roots. So I am thinking of trying deer resistant bulbs, I have had good luck with bulbs so far. My plan is to make a layered bulb arrangement, so at different times of the year different bulbs come up I have read some on how this is done but I feel I need more research on it. Have any of you done this, or know of a good source of information.
The things I do are an evolution and I am always learning. My way is not the only way of doing things, and I may and will change the way I do things as I learn better ways. So any advice that I give is in that spirit.
