Where are the flowers on my Morning Glory plants ?

I have 2 Morning Glory plants, the vines are growing profusely, but I have only had 1 small flower all summer. Is there any way to stimulate flower production ?

Are the morning glories in the ground or in a container?

Are they in full or partial shade?

Have you fertilized them lately?

I've been pursuing a couple of related interests in depth for several weeks, so I haven't been here. How did the morning glories behave in August? What kind of climate are you in? (It's very important on a gardening forum to let others know approximately where you live: central Wyoming, panhandle Florida, Wales, that kind of scale.)

Here in the S.F. Bay Area, July through early October is the heavies blooming period for morning glories, and they're all over the place: by the freeway, in people's yards, gardens, etc.

Did they ever bloom for you?
