Capture drain water from your AC unit to water your plants.

I came up with this idea for catching water from your central air unit from condensation so I can use it on my garden instead of letting it go down the drain. It cost about 6 bucks to make and took under 10 minutes to install. I have a long slope to my drain and I have another bucket that I catch the overflow with.
I get about 7 gallons a day of water! This is a significant amount if you ask me. It could be enough to sustain a small amount of plants through droughts.
:D

that is an innovative idea! a couple of days ago I installed a window AC unit and put my watering can and dog bowl under it. yup a ton of water to supplement my rain barrel!

it should be fairly clean water as it comes of a condenser :D
