Lulled into a false sense of security.

My cats haven't bothered any of the plants in my office, including hydrangea cuttings, rosemary cuttings, kale seedlings, and basil or tomatoes when they were in here. So it didn't even occur to me to put my new spider plant cutting out of their reach. :/

I took this photo after I noticed it on my desk and desperately tried to put it back in the cup, but it had probably been out all night and quickly wilted away.

I got the cutting from the boyfriend's mom--I was helping out around her house and pruned her spider plant because it was sending tendrils out all over the floor, which made it hard to sweep or mop. I only kept the one, because I wanted to keep it manageable. It was nice while it lasted, I guess.

fret not, spiders are near not killable - it'll very likely come back.....
