Protecting plants from weed eaters
I found a cheap way of protecting small trees and plants from weed eaters. Get a corrugated drain pipe, the black ribbed flexible kind, and cut it into about 6" to 8" lengths. Cut down the pipe so as to be able to open it like a clam and place it around the bottom of the plant, tree or what ever. The pipe comes in 3" and 4" sizes.
