Trying to burn the house down

Went to check on my seeds that somone sent me for a growout. They are on my heating mat I have used for years. So I go to move it under the lights and I feel something sticky. The plastic part that attaches the cord to the mat is melting and HOT!!!. I wiggeld the cord and it glowed orange at the base of the mat and the connector. Needless to say it is trash bound. I am glad I checked it or else things could have gotten real ugly.

Check your stuff people. I am going to use my other mat a differant, better product. I will aslo be hooking up a surge protector.

I am just as bad cooking corn. The other night I put one real nice ear on the heat to boil water. I got on the net and 20 minutes later I remembered but the charcoal corn was so black I could not save even a kernal. I had to scrap my pan for a alf hour! That is about the 8 time I did that! I better bet a tiimer or I will burn the house down!
