What plants near a swimming pool can take some splash?

I have a small in-ground swimming pool with some potted plants near the water that take an occasional splash. One or two seem to do OK others do not. What plants might do better than others? Thanks.

Received some advice from local friend with a telescopic pool cover like this one. But he suggested that small palms ... and even some artifical ones might work.

I like his pool cover and it sure is great for some of my tropical plants I have. ... ..

If you have any resorts in your area and they have a pool, they will have plants in the pool area to spice it up.....It may be worth a field trip
