ghostrider,

Your little window garden is so beautiful I can't even comment on it, so I will just ask how well those insulators grow. Do they do better on a window sill?

Very nice! Good use of a little bit of space. Later on if you want to make it even more efficient you could find/ build/ buy a little narrow planter box:

https://www.simplyplanters.com/planter-boxes/planter-boxes/basiccedarplanterbox.cfm

https://www.noveltymfg.com/Products/Other/WindowsillPlanters/tabid/115/Default.aspx

It decreases the clutter and lets you use more of the space. But it has charm as is...

My little garden is on hold for a couple of months, I realized the reason I was having trouble with my Amaryllis bulbs is that I did not let them take their little nap. So I still have the one that started to grow and seems to have stopped, but the rest are in bed. The insulators grow well in the windowsill, when we got them they were only a inch high lol! I will try to post a picture of the green one here and maybe you can give me some advice on what to do to get it to keep growing. It has two roots sticking out of the drainholes, should I give it any water?

RE: I realized the reason I was having trouble with my Amaryllis bulbs is that I did not let them take their little nap:

depends on where you got the amaryllis bulbs. If you buy them from all the garden places that sell them this time of year, they are usually pre-chilled, have had the dormancy and are ready to plant and grow.

https://www.highcountrygardens.com/catalog/browse/amaryllis?gclid=CKeu6bO_9awCFUOo4AodeAvzSQ

Our bulbs are top sized and ready to plant.

That means pre-chilled, etc.

If you got the bulbs some other way, then maybe not.

I dug the bulbs up out of the neighbor's yard and a couple out of mine. I just wrapped the bare Amaryllis bulbs in newspaper, I read that when they are in dormancy that they need to be away from moisture, and we have a pan on the stove with water in it to put some humidity in the air. They are in the entryway where it is cool and dimly lit. So I will try to forget about them, which will be easy since I started work again.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us I got up this morning! It is now started to grow again, should I continue not doing anything, or what should I do now?
