Begonias

Well this was my first year for starting a lot of my plants from seeds and I started my begonia about 3 almost 4 weeks ago. Nothing has sprouted yet, I keep a constant(24/7) temperature of 25 C, and I have plastic wrap around it to keep in the humidity so why haven't they sprouted yet. Oh and I have a light on for about 14 hours a day.

Hi Peachguy,

You don't say which begonias you are growing, but this site explains how to grow them from seed. It does state:
https://www.bradsbegoniaworld.com/seed.htm
The seedlings vary in sprouting time depending on the variety and the age of the seed but can come up as quickly as 4 days or as long as a month. I have heard it reported that some varieties take months to germinate but I guess I will never grow any of those because, if nothing comes up in a month or so, I remove the pot and count it as a loss.

they are tuberous begonias, the only thing I can think of is that I am leaving the heat on too long and I don't give the cooling down affect that would happen outside during night time. Could that be the reason?
