How to secure a pot

Hi guys , I have two large pots that sit either side of my front door . They contain a tall hedge type plant . when its windy , they keep falling over . I'm looking for a way to secure them without drilling through the bottom into my driveway . Ay ideas ??

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Consider putting cinder blocks or some type of pavers around the pots to keep them upright. Also consider staking the plants in the pots so they have some sway but not too much.

depending on the size of the pot, how about using construction adhesive to glue the bottom of the pot to a 12 or 16 inch round paver? if drainage is needed, use 3 small interim spacers glued to the pot and the paver.
