Congratulations; real men cook.
Did you grow the wheat?

They grow a lot of wheat around where I live; it is nice to see the fields. Makes me hungry just thinking about all of the fresh home made bread to be in those fields. My wife made some bread the other day, there is nothing like the smell and taste of fresh bread.

Oooh, I could really use a slice or two just about now. Looks REALLY yummy!! I'll trade ya for one of my nice Brandywine Sudduth toms I picked this morning! I know you said you haven't got one yet. :D

Ozark Lady, seems so since you haven't received a response yet. That Jal UT is a very versatile individual. Propagates it, grows it, tends to it, harvests it and cooks too.

Yep!
But, is he being secretive about his recipe? I mean he could just say... I ain't sharing it! Or maybe he is too busy with the garden, canning and all that!

I bet he is busy, cause he isn't normally on here daily anyhow. Sooner or later he will answer yes or no at least! :P

Can't argue with that Tom. I've been cooking since I was old enough to look over the pans. Mind you, back then it was just the basics, but it did spark an interest that I've taken to another level as an adult. I'm 57, retired and my wife still works outside the home.

I do all the cooking and would have it no other way and neither would she. We tell folks we have a match made in heaven. I love to cook, she loves to eat. Even though to look at her, she looks to need a meal with her metabolism. She's 51 and fluctuates between size 4 and 6 depending on the holidays. I, on the other, could stand to lose a few pounds.
