South Florida

HI, I am new to south florida ... Loving it!! While I was weeding a garden bed I found that as I touched the weeds small brown ?seeds?, where popping up and sticking to me?? I have never seen such a thing in my northern gardens and I am curious what they are. The bed has a mohagany tree, Robolini Palm, Bulbine, Matcho fern, Heleconia and another plant possibly Burle Marx (not sure).

Thank You!!! :D

There are a number of plants that 'throw' their seeds like that. I'm not familiar with south Florida plants, but we have other members from that area. Perhaps one of them will be able to ID it for you.

If you'd like to post a picture of the plant, I'd be willing to research it and try to ID it for you. :)
