Define Free Flowering

I'm new to gardening (obviously) and cannot find a definition for free flowering anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Don't have a concise definition myself but, I have asked a friend of mine who will most definately have an answer.

Free-flowering means that the plant will bloom continually through the growing season. It won't bloom for a couple of weeks and then stop.

You're welcome. I just realized that the second sectence may have been confusing. What I meant was that, like other perrenials that will bloom for a couple of weeks and then stop, free-flowering ones won't. And also you shouldn't have to worry about dead-heading with those, it shouldn't affect the blooming.
