Children have to love them!

My parnter and I have never bothered much about veg gardening, until about 3 years ago. Our then 3 year didn't want to eat cucubmers, so we decided to grow some. Well is worked like a charm. :D Now he 6 and he loves to garden, he is growing stawberrys, beans, carrots, capcisns and cucubmers. (With dad helping). He gets more excited by see a self of seeds then he does by seeing toys at the shop. He make full time gardeners out of us yet. :D

That's a great experience. Many kids, at the right age, seem naturally drawn to growing things.
