Leggy pansies

I bought some leggy pansies --decided to give them a home :)
I know I have to "pinch" them down -- but how much?

Thanks,

Silvia

Pinch them back to right above a healthy new leaf. It will help it branch out and get bushier, vs "leggy."

I believe plants get leggy because they were growing without enough light. If you just plant them in good light, the old leaves will most likely turn yellow and dry up after a while. The new growth will be more robust and not leggy. Pinch or not. They will be fine.

Ahh ...

They were doing ok -- my pansises -- but now something has gotten to them .. they thought all the leaves were yummy.

I looked for slugs and caterpillars -- but I didn't find any -- I did spray them with a little soapy water -- I think it may have worked --I have been getting home after dark and haven't been able to analyze.. I hope that they will come back :|
