cut flowers

This bouquet was from a couple weeks ago, all from my front yard:

The small yellow button flowers are tansy. Here's some published pictures of it:

It is very aromatic, insect repellant, herbal, makes nice teas...

What else is in the bouquet is 3 varieties of mums, purple asters, lavender, jerusalem artichoke and I think some gayfeather and purple salvia.

And yes I do love nice hand made pottery...

Do you make the pottery? In high school and college I took ceramics and loved it! I've been getting an itch lately to find someplace close to here that has a studio so I can go play :)

no unfortunately, I don't have that skill to make pottery. I'd love to learn some day, except I feel like I have enough hobbies already :)

I bought the pieces, one at some little shop way in some remote holler in KY where the pottery was all sitting out with prices and a little honor box to put your money in and no one tending the store and one at an estate sale.
