The first picture looks like Cordyline terminalis, commonly known as Ti plant.

I'm sorry, but I don't recognize the second plant. I'll do some looking around,, but perhaps someone else will recognize it. :)

I'd hoped to one-up Kisal on that 2d one, but other than: "Oooh, that's Pretty!", I have no clue. Are the stems woody or soft? Love the variegation.

The stems are woody oh I'm BonsaiPyro's Brother  yea I've never seen anything like it but it has little bottle brush like red and pink flowers on the top and all around it I saw it and figured me and my bro Pyro would both like to have it so I got it.

Thanks, Gardenerx, and welcome to the forum! :)

With your added information about the flowers, I would guess the little shrub is Fothergilla gardenii. :)

oh and you where right Kisal the purple plant is a Ti Plant and its doing very well but I do have a question about it, do they ever flower?????
Some of the leaves at the top are unfolding I guess that's all they do?????

Ti plants are grown for their foliage, but they do flower--it's just not considered the primary reason to grow it, I guess. No, I've never seen a flower, so I can't describe it for you.

(oops, meant to say the second photo...)Reminds me of a sweet... sweet... junk, I can't remember what it's called, but it's a woody shrub with bottle-brush-y white flowers on it, flowers in June here and does have a sweet vanilla-like fragrance. Sweetspire! Man, I miss my mind sometimes...

Not Fothergilla, then, for the little shrub, because their flowers are white.

A possibility would be Alternanthera, common name Joseph's Coat. There are several varieties of Alternanthera, and I'm not sure which yours is. It might be the one called 'Party Time'.
