my sister has a plant that looks just like that....at first I thought it was mint. Never found out what it was tho.

I wish the picture were clearer. If the stems of the plant are square in cross-section, you might want to investigate the various Plectranthus species. There are at least 2, but probably more, that have the purple variegation and stems. That's the best I can do as far as an ID from the current picture. Thank you so much for responding to my question, It is my Aunt's plant and I am waiitng to hear back from her if she will send another picture or go with the plant you think it is....
