I did, and boy was I wrong in doing so. I planted about 20 morning glory seeds. None ever made it once the heat came. So, I sort of gave up on them, thinking they'll never make it in the Texas heat, atleast not with me growing them. So, since my morning glories never made it I transplanted some "weed" vines along the fence where I wanted the morning glories. They're just green vines, nothing special, but better than nothing(and there's tons of them).
Now of course, mother nature love to surprise people, and definately surprised me! I went to check on my plain old green vine and noticed something odd. Something pink was on my vine. My Surprise!

Not only that, since I thought they were just normal old plain vines, I never fertilized them(so no excess nitrogen), and just spread compost along the fence to stop weeds, so there's tons of blooms about to bloom! I'll update pics of the next couple of days as more bloom, so far theres ony 4 or 5 blooming. Not only that, but two of the other vines look like they're about to bloom morning glories as well!

Well, your "weed vines" were likely bindweed, which is wild morning glory. Looks just like morning glory except the flowers aren't as colorful and showy since they haven't had the work of the hybridizers selecting for that.
But both the bindweed and the morning glory can be invasive and aggressive spreaders. I pull bindweed out of other people's yards when I'm walking down the street, just because I hate the stuff so much...

We have a ton of these vines. So much, that I pretty much have no choice but to let it go and try and control it. I've pulled up roots 15 feet long extending into my yard. I was just happy the one I moved happened to be morning glories(or bindweed) so I now have some color coming to my fence! I don't mind the morning glories being invasive though, we want flowers all over our fences since we have chain link.
The picture I posted probably is bindweed, but the other vines which I called the "weed" vines are probably Blue Vine Milkweed. When you mentioned them here: https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=93204#93204 I noticed most of them look like the milkweed, and just two like bindweed.
Whether it's bindweed, or a different morning glory, I don't know for sure, but I do know about 30 of them have sprouted up since our storm two days ago.
