Cold weather damage question about houseplant.

I have a houseplant that I put outside while I was on vacation for about 4 days. The weather was nice when I put it outside but when I returned there had been a drop in weather to about 30 degrees. The plants leaves are all slumping and seem very wet, it looks like its soked, but still healthy. I'm wondering if it will be better after it gets some sun or is it done for?

What type of plant is it? Did the entire plant freeze, or just get touched on the leaves? Did the whole pot freeze through?

I wouldn't say that it's done for, yet. Just give it time and see what happens. Most likely, it froze, and the ice crystals broke through the cell membranes and cell walls of the leaves and what not, so, pinch the damaged parts off, maybe give your plant a little pruning and wait and see.

All hope is not lost.
