Jacaranda Tree Lined Street Pictures

Every year at this time, the Jacaranda's on my street are in Big Purple Bloom. It's beautiful but the street and vehicles get sticky with purple flowers... :roll: Hope you enjoy the pics...

Those are beautiful! I've heard of that tree, but I'm sure it's one that doesn't grow here.

Yes, the pictures don't do them justice... People stop quite often throughout the day to take pics. I think they're folks from the surrounding neighborhoods.

One year a similar picture made the front page of the local newspaper. It is pretty. :cool:

Well the Jackie is my favourite plant and of course in my region it's too cold for it! Don't you dare complaining about sticky streets! :twisted: It's like heaven!

They really do look very beautiful. Don't think I have ever seen those over here in England.
