Last frost dates, be careful of your source

I just checked three different sources that give last frost dates for Columbia, S.C. Here are the results of those tables.

April 17
April 29
April 4

I suspect that April 29th is close to correct. But if looking for planting dates or last frost dates, I would suggest relying on the information from your local farmer's extension service. And be sure to go by your city, not by some average data for your zone.
Eclectic gardening style, drawing from 45 years of interest and experience. Mostly plant in raised beds and containers primarily using intensive gardening techniques.

Not only do you have to be aware of actual "frost" but also of windchill...
