Nemesia, bracychome, calibrachoa in planter boxes

I have 2 planter boxes with these plants in them(Nemesia, Bracychome, Calebranchoa). All are perennials. Seems they have dried out either from not enough watering or this is not the season for them to bloom. How do I know if they are dead or just need to be cut back and wait until growing season again? Or should I just replace them? thank you Violet
