Edible Plants without or little sunlight?

I know this is a lame question but I feel as though I need to educate myself since I failed biology and botany in high school. Are there ANY edible plants that do not require sunlight or need very little sunlight?

Mushrooms come to mind.

Most plants use photosynthesis to grow, which means they require light.

Mushrooms prefer the dark.

I'm sure others will have additional suggestions, but don't expect too many due to the photosynthesis situation.
