Help Identifying Plant

This leaf is similar to an elm but has 3 distinct veins that run along the length of the leaf and not really that run across. I cant remember what the tree or bush looked like but that at the base, several thick brancehes came off from it and it wasnt just like a regular tree which has an obvious trunk. It could be a bush or a shrub?
