I also took out the puzzle piece shaped landscaping bricks that were surrounding these two squares of lawn in the corners of the sidewalks Decided that we were going to do away with those because they used to have bushes but the bushes are dead. So I am taking those bricks to the back yard for later use. I don't know what to do with the area now though because there's a ton of landscaping rock in the grassy areas. What's the best way to remove this? A rake? Shovel isn't going to work. Do it by hand? Kind of tedious but it could be done. I want to let the grass grow there so I have to remove the rocks somehow.
Anyway, that's what I did today... after work. What did everyone else do? Tomorrow I am laying down the top soil under and aroung my fence where the neighbor's dog dug it up... the neighbor is MOVING OUT tomorrow and so now I can fill in the holes and know they will stay filled in. Also going to be tackling the junk pile, putting down the landscaping bricks around the tree in the backyard, moving the rocks from around the patio and replacing them with mulch and putting the rocks around the tree. That'll about take care of my day!
