I'm thinking Gardenia, probanly jasminoides. Any other opinions?

Yikes!

No one else with an opinion?

I'm 75% sure, but that leaves room. Could be a Jasmine; that's awful close...

It's either one or the other, but I really expected a few other takers here. Careful or I'll get swollen headed and start to think I'm infallible, and that's not good for anyone. Where's Guest? She can always catch my foibles and faux pas...

I'm new to bonsai, but I know some plants. I would say Gardenia as well, but I would have to phone a friend on this one..

Just finally looked at this thread. The flowers look like Jasmine flowers though, the picture is a little small. I must admit that I don 't immediately recognize the tree. It's a really pretty one though.

Is a Fukien Tea, and likes bright light to flower. But will tolerate medium light as well. After flowering it will produce little red berries.

Water when the surface of soil gets dry.
Beware of the bugs, every one of them love it.
Good luck, BTM

After looking over some other images I am inclined to agree with BTM's assessment. The flower threw me as I haven't raised this one (for the reasons listed by BTM), and didn't really think of it as a flowering tree (or a berrying one, a position much changed by this experience  )

Thanks for the I.D., BTM!

Yes, I the leaves don't look like that of Jasminium but, the flowers do so therefore, given that I don't actually know the tree, I'll go with the afore mentioned conclusion.
