What Next

Ok... So I have grown the plants for about a year. How do you know when they are ready for the roots to be pruned and transfered into the bonsai pot?

I have grown two cotoneaster horizontalis and not sure when to do the transfer. I have included two pictures and would really like to know if these guys are ready to be transplanted or do I still need to wait keep trimming and just trip the roots?

Don't need the pics to know this is not the time for repotting those plants; think spring (unless it's an emergency, and I mean BAD  )

See the Bonsai pages on the site proper for more info...
