Do I have to make my tree fit a style?
Can't I just let it grow naturally and only cut branches off or wire branches when they are doing something that is bad to a full sized tree?

S.Reavis.P,
The bottom line is that you can do whatever you like. I had a tree that simply did not fit into any of the established styles and when I asked on another forum about it I was advised that my idea was not viable. Well I tried to force the tree into one of the defined styles and have never been happy with it since.
