ginseng ficus

Hi. I'm new to this site and Bonsai trees. I need some help in looking after my plant as the last bonsai I had died a slow lingering death. Any tips on looking after this new 6 inch tall plant would be appreciated

Well, first tip, as this seems to be the species of choice for many mass market "bonsai", is, if the soil is covered in glued rocks, get them off and get the plant repotted in suitable soil as soon as possible.

jaka,

No low temperatures. Most sources say to keep them above 50 to 55 F. I have let mine get colder than that for short periods but no point in pushing it. They like humidity and good light but will adjust nicely to less than ideal circumstances. A humidity tray, while not a necessity, could not hurt. Read the general growing sticky thread located at the top of the forum for tips on watering.
