I received this Bonsai as a gift. They said it came from Sam's Club. Any idea what kind of plant this is? Thank you!

Most likely a juniper bonsai. There's a lot written here about them. You should do some browsing.

They are not a good indoor tree, most likely die if kept indoors very long. You didn't say where you are or what weather you are having. If it isn't really cold, you should just take your tree out to some protected outdoor location. If it is already super cold, then you probably need some intermediate step, like the coldest spot in your house or a protected garage/shed.

If those pebbles are glued on, they should be pried off. You want to be able to see and touch the soil and air and water needs to be able to circulate freely through the soil.

Never water bonsai on a schedule. Water it when it needs it. That will be different amounts of time depending on season, how actively it is growing, ambient temperatures, etc etc. Read about the chopstick method to tell when it needs it:
